Tips on Removing Wine Labels:
Materials you’ll need:
Empty wine bottle
Dish soap
Baking soda
Warm water
Clean, dry cloth
Hairdryer (optional)
Steps:
-Fill a sink or a large bowl with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap.
-Soak the empty wine bottle in the soapy water for 15-30 minutes.
-Once the label has loosened a bit, remove the bottle from the soapy water and gently scrape off as much of the label as possible -with a razor blade or a sharp knife.
-Mix 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda with warm water to make a paste.
-Apply the baking soda paste to the remaining label and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
-Gently scrub the label off the bottle with a clean, dry cloth.
-If there is any remaining adhesive residue, use Goo Gone or rubbing alcohol to remove it.
-If the label is still not coming off easily, use a hairdryer to heat the label for a minute or two to loosen the adhesive before scraping it off.
